1. What were the top three memorable moments on your wedding day? Why?

Groom:  

  1. Seeing Wendy for the first time in her wedding dress – After all the hype and tease about her wedding dress it was a really special moment to finally have it revealed in all it’s perfect glory.

That’s not to mention getting pranked by my groomsmen prior to the reveal and seeing Wendy’s emotional and teary eyes as I turned around.

  1. Clowning around with the groomsmen all day. I really enjoyed spicing up the photos with the occasional kung fu action poses.
  2. Walking around in Stephen Avenue and having everyone stare at us and receiving their congratulations. It was nice being ‘famous’ for a day and enjoyed the power trip while it lasted.  

Bride:

  1. My most memorable moment was when my mom and I cried during the tea ceremony. I was really happy in that moment to receive her blessings/gifts and to see both my parents enjoy our special day.

        2.     When I saw Kevin get out of the car and he was wearing the traditional Vietnamese hat with the ao dai. I was really surprised and laughed along with all the bridesmaids.

        3.     Going into the reception and seeing the decorations for the first time. Not only was it a huge relief, but it surpassed all of our expectations and looked absolutely stunning.

2. Where are you going for your honeymoon? Any special reason for going there?

We plan on going back to Vietnam to visit the rest of Wendy’s family and enjoy the cuisine and culture.
It will be Wendy’s first time back ever since she first came to Canada 5 years ago so we’re really looking forward to coming back.

              Our second pick is the happiest place on earth – Disney World. #PleaseSponsorMeDisney

 3. What are the best wedding advice that you want to share with other couples?

A wedding is a special event that only happens once your lifetime so don’t worry too much about the money.

You can always earn it back later – as the ancient Chinese proverb goes, there’s no medicine in the world that can cure regret.

Also don’t be peer pressured into choosing something that you don’t like – go with that double breasted vest and you’ll look good just like me.
